Pu'Uhonua National Historic Park
We drove south for a while and came upon Pu'Uhonua National Historic Park. This was a place of sanctuary for Hawaiians who had offended the King, including, as the story goes, his wife (although they did kiss and make up).
There is a very small inlet which had a number of sea turtles just hanging out waiting to have their pictures taken.
